Agency Accounts

When you create an agency account, we collect:

• Your name and work email address
• Your password (stored securely hashed — we never store it in plain text)
• Agency name

Creator Accounts

When you sign in as a creator via OAuth, we receive:

• Your name, email, and profile picture from the social platform
• An OAuth access token and refresh token to retrieve your social media analytics
• Platform analytics data you authorize — such as follower counts, reach, engagement rates, audience demographics, and content performance metrics

Automatically Collected

We collect standard web analytics information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited to operate and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Influsight service — connecting agencies with verified creator analytics
• To authenticate you and maintain your account
• To fetch and display social media analytics you've authorized
• To share creator analytics with agencies the creator has granted access to
• To communicate with you about your account and service updates

3. How We Share Your Information

Creator data is shared only with agencies you explicitly grant access to. Creators control which data scopes each agency can see and can revoke access at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers that help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, authentication)
• Law enforcement when required by law

4. Third-Party Platforms

We access YouTube and Instagram data through their official APIs. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies. We only request the minimum permissions needed to provide our service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Social media analytics are refreshed periodically and historical data may be retained to show trends. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure token storage, and hashed passwords. OAuth tokens are stored securely and used solely to fetch authorized analytics.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Revoke OAuth access at any time through your social media platform settings
• Withdraw consent for data sharing with specific agencies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
